VIGOR the strong gas spring which locks in place - for standard recording
The damper opens your tailgate.
If you want, you can secure the tailgate over the damper / snap and wind and weather does not close the tailgate.
Ideal for craftsmen.
What is to be considered
There must be no bike carrier or other mounted on the tailgate. Otherwise you will need to use VIGOR II. The original recording of the damper can be used. If you pay attention to the application. Our recommendation also use our checked recordings (MB).

The powerful damper
There may be a bicycle rack or other carrier mounted on the tailgate. The damper locks in place and holds your tailgate with your bike's. No decrease from the bikes as according to the manufacturer.
What is to be considered
The dampers have ours
audited recordings (MB).
Original manufacturer mounts for dampers do not lift the load on the tailgate (MB).
They are bending.
At VW, the original recordings are used.
Carrier up to 15kg can be mounted. Max. Payload 70kg.
